EPA Long Island Sound Office

Created by legislation in 1991, the EPA Long Island Sound Office has locations in Stamford CT, and at the Marine Sciences Research Center at SUNY Stony Brook.  The Long Island Sound Office was established to provide public access to information pertaining to the Study and to help unify the federal EPA's role in completing and implementing the Long Island Sound Study.

The MSRC location has Long Island Sound Study Fact Sheets and other information pertaining to the Study available for the taking. In the future, the Office will be one of the primary locations for public access to the Study's final management plan, and a vehicle for public comment on that plan.
